2021 Season Changes

We understand that travel plays an important role in our lives and that COVID-19 has affected how we make travel decisions. This challenge requires all of us to shift how we do business and live our day-to-day lives.

Bear Lake Lodgings has always been committed to the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. We also know that you can’t relax unless you feel safe. We want to make sure you feel excited about all that we have to offer. Since we’re a small property, that means fewer guests: Stay Small, Stay Safe, Stay Inn!

Below are some of the the new protocols that we have put in place, to help put your mind at ease.

  • We are using disinfectants and sanitizers approved by the CDC.
  • We will be wearing face coverings at all times around guests, until mandates change.
  • We will also wear gloves and masks when preparing your room for arrival, during room cleaning and after your departure.
  • Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the property and in all guest rooms.
  • Weather permitting, we will leave blinds and windows open in between stays to increase air flow and sunshine.
  • We’ve increased the overall frequency of cleaning and sanitizing common areas.
  • Guests are responsible for maintaining 6 feet of social distance between other guests and staff members when possible.
  • Guests who are experiencing or have been exposed to another person with any symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days will not be permitted to stay.
  • Breakfast service will be limited to one family group at a time and a 15 minute period between servings will be observed for the staff to disinfect and sanitize the dining room between services. You will be asked to choose a seating time at the day of your check-in and at breakfast for additional days of your stay.
  • We are offering our “To-Go” breakfast by advance request for those who do not wish to eat in the dining room or are leaving for activities before service begins.
  • The use of shared food and beverage equipment, including shared coffee and tea service have been discontinued. Coffee service will be available in all rooms. Coffee/hot water refills will be available during breakfast and served by the staff.

We are diligently implementing these distancing and cleaning initiatives according to local and state mandates as well as CDC recommendations. As the global health crisis and recovery evolves, we will also adapt and update our protocols to match changing recommendations from the CDC and local and state organizations.

We are available to answer any questions or address any concerns you might have about travel to our B&B during COVID-19. Please call or email, and we will be happy to discuss our new and enhanced protocols.
