Our guests have exclusive and complimentary use of our 4 kayaks and 2 canoes for exploring the 3.5 pristine square miles of Bear Lake. Adventure is quite literally just out the back door: Paddle out to a salmon spawning stream, take in the spectacular mountain scenery, paddle around the island. Bald eagles and many different types of seabirds and ducks call Bear Lake home, including a pair of Common Loons, along with a family of muskrats, river otters and the occasional beaver. Bears, both brown and black, also patrol the shores of the lake—you may see one enjoying a salmon dinner!

Sales Tax Savings
We are located 3 miles outside of Seward’s city limits, which saves our guests 8% in sales taxes over Seward rates. We have only a 3% sales tax; inside the city of Seward, you’d have to pay a 7% sales tax and a 4% bed tax.
